blogging, lifestyle 5 Blogs You Should Be Reading 19th April 2018

I love finding new blogs to read and add to my bookmarks. There are literally millions of them. But finding something or someone you really relate too can be difficult. There are several blogs that I follow on a regular basis and thought I’d share them with you! Who knows, you may even love them all as much as I do!

I’ve compiled a list of the ones that stick out in my mind and ones I always go back to. So here are my top 5 favourite blogs to read!

Helen Anderson - theanderzapproah

She’s one of my all-time favourites bloggers. I practically cyber stalk her because I follow her on everything. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook… you name it.

I’ve been watching this woman on YouTube for years and like most others, I was sucked in by the bright and beautiful hair and stayed for the personality and no-bullsh*t delivery of her videos and posts. It’s been nice because I feel like I watched her “grow” in some way, as I was part of her audience from the beginning. Seeing the achievements she has made and the things she gets to do is awesome. It’s really inspiring to keep going and no matter what is happening in her life, she gives it everything.

What I love most about her is that she refuses to fit a mould, and speaks honestly and freely about things. That’s rare in a “PC perfect” and free speech policed the world.

Some of my favourite posts from Helen are:

Lauren Elizabeth - ellduclos

Lauren is a powerhouse. She made blogging her job by working hard and sticking to her guns and BOY did it work out for her! She’s the creator of one of the more successful blogger groups on Facebook and Pinterest and trust me, the advise that she gives you is worth its weight in gold. If you’re struggling or feeling like you’re not going anywhere… she always has words on encouragement and a can-do attitude to go with it.

She’s a great person to follow if you need advice and inspiration for blogging. She’s certainly my go-to for hints and tips. I’m due to start a little blogging course of her’s soon when things are a little less chaotic and I get some extra time. Basically, if you need inspiration for success… Ell is your girl.

Some of my favourites from Lauren are:

Victoria Jane - Victorias Vintage

Victoria was one of the first that really hooked me into blogging. I think it’s fair to say that her blog is what inspired me to actually take mine seriously and actually do something with it. I can’t really remember how or when I stumbled across her but I’m so glad I did. She writes about everything I love; bargains, comping, vintage fashion, home decor… you name it she writes it.

Her blog is so pretty and I just love her style. The recent tour of her home reminds me of a Cath Kidson store – it’s so pretty and elegant. Her eye for detail is something else.

Favourites from Victoria:

Elle - LaBeaute

Not only is she gorgeous but she’s also warm-hearted and a lovely person. She’s a blogger who writes about anything from Skincare to Self Improvement. She has a way with words that keeps me gripped and her quirky quote of the days are always fun to read too!

Her photography is so pretty. I have serious flay lay and product shot envy. But she was kind enough to give me some tips when I asked her. So maybe I’ll start to turn out some pretty photo’s too with her gentle instruction. 😋 I highly recommend you check her out, you won’t be disappointed.

My favourite posts from Elle:

Jemma - DorkFace

Her blog is total eye candy for me. It’s a literal rainbow of colour and just getting onto her homepage puts me in a better mood.
There’s no specific niché, which is something I really enjoy in a blogger. So the content is always varied and could be anything about how she had a crappy day or tips on how to start your own mini business. It’s always fresh, it’s always fun, her photography is awesome and she is definitely one of my favourites. No wonder she has such a huge twitter and Instagram following!

She’s also really relatable. I often find myself deflated or unmotivated, so to see someone like her experience the same feelings makes me feel a little bit better. Because it happens to the best of us, and I really do consider her blogs as one of the best I’ve discovered!

Favourites from Jemma:

Give Them Some Love!

I genuinely really enjoy reading all of these. You may already be familiar with them but if not, hopefully, I’ve introduced you to some great people who will inspire you as much as they do me! Blogging can be very difficult. My biggest issue is consistency and motivation. So finding blogs you love and inspire you are really important to keep you going.

I’d love to hear if there are any other bloggers you’re obsessed with. Like I say, it’s always great to find new ones, so please do let me know in the comments below!

Until next time… ♡
