Month 6 of 12… where does the time go?!
Anyway, I only had one goal for June, and that was to try and shift my perspective into a more positive place. I wanted to better appreciate what I have, and not focus so much on what I don’t. I’ve spent a lot of time being stressed out about things I can’t control. So it was important for me to put myself into a better headspace. This seems like a really simple thing to do but it was much harder than I anticipated, purely for the fact that you have to check yourself constantly.
I worked really hard on it and tried to put out good intentions to the universe, and it ended up being a good month. We finally received good news on things we had been waiting on for some time and the relief that came with it launched me into a much better place. So yey for that, and I don’t intend to get off the positive train for a while yet!
Finish my photography course
I started this in April, so it’s about time I actually do something with it and pull my finger out. There really is no excuse now. I have my part-time hours back and I’m a lot more flexible than I have been. So that’s on my list!
Reach 2000 followers on Twitter
I’m getting close. I think I’m sat on the 1700 mark as of now. It would be nice to hit that milestone but I won’t be too upset if I don’t! We’ll see what happens. If you want to be a gem and help a girl out, you can follow me here: @laurahasablog.
Stay on top of my schedule
Blog schedule that is, I don’t really have a social life. I have a habit of just doing it when I feel like it and I’d like to have some kind of routine. It will be interesting to see if it makes me more or less productive!
Tidy/organise my house
You know when you put things off and they all start to pile up and then the task seems monumental when it could have been much simpler? Yeah, that’s what happened. I feel like my house is a hole and it’s stressing me out unnecessarily. Got to fix that!
This might as well take permanent residence on my goals for each month because I always slide back into eating like crap. I’ve well and truly fallen off the wagon and need to flip that on its head. If I can get into it as a habit I won’t find figuring out what to have for lunch and dinner so difficult!
We’re 6 days into the month already and I’m feeling pretty good. I had a banana, strawberry, celery and super seed mix smoothie for breakfast, I’ve finished another blog post and got a little list of things to do to make my cleaning test less daunting. So we’re off to a good start!
Have you set yourself any goals for July? I’d love to hear them.
Until next time ♡
