November Tarot ⋆ Were The Cards Right?

Happy Monday everyone and welcome to the penultimate tarot blog of the year!

This months card was V of Wands. The Wands suit is associated with your energy, creativity and passion. Fire is the element that represents this suit, which makes sense as fire is symbolic of passion, energy and sexuality. If you are reading Tarot with playing cards, the Wands corresponds to Clubs.

I’m actually pretty impressed I’ve stuck to this series. It’s been really fun to review them every month and it’s taught me about cards and educated me about tarot along the way.

V of Wands

Keywords – conflict, disagreement, tension

“The Five of Wands meaning could also be a personal struggle that you are dealing with on your own. This can be on a number of issues that affect you, hence you need to address them and find a solution for them. You will need to identify where the problems are and offer a solution that will handle the case.” – Labyrinthos

As with many of the ‘V’ cards of a suit, the V of Wands tarot is typically associated with conflict, rivalry, and tension. The card itself depicts fighting, with the wands as weapons. But no one is striking each other. This is a clash of opinion, culture, beliefs. No one is right and there is no suitable outcome from the confrontation.
This can obviously be interpreted in many ways. There may be a rivalry at work, disagreements with friends or internal conflict that you’re trying to overcome.

My Thoughts

In truth, this card feels like another dud. There hasn’t been anything that I would consider a confrontation or an ‘issue’. November was actually a pretty chilled month for us. There’s only one thing that I can associate with this. But it was an internalised thing that I had to argue with myself about. But not significant enough for me to sit and I go “ah, that’s definitely what that was!”, y’know?

So ultimately this was a little bit of a letdown. Maybe December will be right! My final card for the year is the V of Swords. So let’s wait and see!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this months Tarot, I’d love to hear your thoughts…

Until next time ♡
