Here’s another one you. I told you I was behind! This is the quarterly beauty box from The Vegan Kind. If you haven’t checked them out already, I recommend that you do! Their site is rammed with vegan foods and beauty products, so consider it your online vegan/cruelty free supermarket.
20p from every beauty box gets donated to Animal Free Research UK (formerly The Dr Hadwen Trust). They’re the UK’s leading non-animal medical research charity who fund and promote the development of techniques and procedures to replace the use of animals in biomedical research. Awesome huh?

FIGS AND ROUGE HYDRA-ACTIV 3-IN-1 CREAM
How pretty is the pot this comes in?! Having a quick check on google it looks like it comes in all sorts of quirky designs. When this is finished I’m gunna be keeping it as a little jewellery tin 😁
This Figs and Rouge cream can be used on all areas of the face and body and is designed to help provide intense moisturise, repair and support your skin for at least 24hrs. Sounds good huh?
It contains “smart nutrient” technology (whatever that means), Hyaluronic acid and Vitamins A, C and E. Other ingredients include of sesame seed and avocado oils, cucumber, aloe and carrot seed extract and cucumber fruit extract for a natural boost of moisture.
I really like this despite having almost dropped it 15 times (the lid is very loose on mine). It absorbs really quickly into the skin and isn’t tacky or leave you with a residue when you’re finished. Using it day and night at the moment, so I’ll keep you posted if my smile lines magically disappear.
CHIRP BODY SOFTNESS HAIR MASK
I received this in my July PIP box too and I really liked it, so getting another one was a bonus for me. You can check out my thoughts on this [ here ]. Saves me repeating myself 😅.
ZERREAU WATERLESS BODY WASH
I’ll be honest and tell you that I didn’t read the label for this properly before using it and ASSUMED it was a waterless shampoo. As they say, if you assume, it makes an “ass” out of “u” and “me”. But it actually worked pretty well, haha!
But seriously, this is actually a waterless body wash. No water or rinsing required, no alcohol or parabens included, so it’s really gentle on the skin and friend to everyone. It’s also got a really nice coconut smell to it.
Perfect for festivals, camping, travelling, for the sporty types and for after use if you’ve been to the gym and don’t have time to shower.
You just pump this onto your skin, massage in to lift any dirt or build up and whilst still a little damp (because it’s a foam after all) remove by towel drying. Then viola! you’re squeaky clean and ready to go!
TISSERAND HAPPY AROMATHERAPY ROLLER BALL
Being happy can be a challenge. Life likes to slap you in the face every now and then, or you could just be having a really pants day and in a mood you can’t shift. Or you just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, we’ve all been there. But this is where this comes in handy.
The “happy” roller is infused with Bergamot, Lemon Tea Tree and Nutmeg to give you a little boost when you need it. It’s a really nice, uplifting smell. I tend to apply it like perfume on my wrists and neck. But it can also be applied to your temples or behind your ears. Where ever you think you’ll be able to catch the scent and give you that little “happy” kick you need.
Aromatherapy is actually a pretty powerful tool and I’ve used a number of Tisserand products in the past, mainly because I get them in these boxes, but I do recommend you try them.
EDEN PERFUMES DAISY PERFUME
I am BUZZING about this. Trying to find a vegan or cruelty perfume can be hard work, and we’ve all got out favourites. Whether that’s your Chanel No. 5 or Armani Diamonds, Marc Jacobs or Dior.. whichever is your signature, it’s hard to find a replacement for it. Not anymore!
Eden perfumes are based in Brighton and all their perfumes are plant based, vegan and cruelty free. But that’s not even the best part.. they have a perfume identical to every big brand. You just go onto their website, search for the brand/perfume you normally wear and they’ll give you their version/alternative. It’s as simple as that.
Full sizes are 30mls and £18.00 and considering you can pay anything from £28-60 for the same size bottle with the mainstream products, depending on the brand, I’d say this was a damn bargain!
This box featured “Daisy” and it’s not hard to guess what this is an imitation of. I have a tiny bottle of actual Daisy at home that I got as a sample from somewhere, so I sprayed one on each wrist and I couldn’t tell the difference at all. Eden perfume, in my opinion, lasts a lot longer than the big brand one I had on and the sample size I got was pretty generous at 10ml. Perfect for chucking in your bag.
I literally can’t tell you how excited I was to find out about this and think it’s freaking awesome that they’ve matched and categorised everything for you already. I won’t be buying from anywhere else, full stop.
FAITH IN NATURE BOTANICALS SHAMPOO
I’ve used Faith in Nature before. They’re really gentle on your hair and have a pretty big range for all different hair types.
Brave Botanicals is their latest creative which has the same hair loving ingredients with the bonus of juicy and fruity smells.
This moisture boost shampoo contains organic coconut oil and is infused with Frangipani (that’s a funny word) to cleanse your hair and keep it looking and feeling hydrated and beautiful. Frangipani is apparently a flower found in the Caribbean which gives it it’s tropical smell.
So that was this quarters beauty box from The Vegan Kind. I’ve got another 2 boxes to review yet, I think my subscription obsession is slightly out of control! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products in the past and what your thoughts are in the comments below!
